Dr. Haroun Dharsey is a seasoned technology leader with over three decades of experience designing and delivering secure, scalable, and high-performance systems across the financial services and enterprise landscape. He has held senior leadership roles including Chief Information Officer at Deem Finance, Senior Vice President of Technology at Dubai Islamic Bank, and Chairman of the IT Committee at the UAE Banking Federation.

Throughout his career, Dr. Dharsey has led large-scale transformation initiatives encompassing core banking modernisation, enterprise data programmes, digital mobility platforms, and complex infrastructure migrations. He is widely recognised for his ability to translate complex technical challenges into clear, practical, and actionable solutions.

His leadership philosophy is rooted in transparency, long-term value creation, and ensuring that technology strategies are aligned with genuine business objectives rather than transient market trends.
